A Priest and two Deacons Ordained in Katibunga

On 20th August 2015, his Grace the Most Reverend Ignatius Chama ordained two deacons and one priest in Katibunga at Christ the King Parish.

Fr. Deogratious Sikazwe

Two deacons are Webster Chitundu Chewe and Philip Makumba belonging to the Opera Santa Maria della Luce (Association of the Works of Mary of the Light). A priest ordained was Fr. Deogratious Sikazwe belonging to the Order of Saint Benedict ( Benendictine Monks).

Deacons Makumba and Chewe are posted to Chinsali and Mulanga parishes respectively.  They are to work in these parishes till  their ordinations to priesthood are arranged. Fr. Sikazwe is posted by his Abbot to Katibunga Monastery and further has received an appointment from the Apostolic  Administrator as curate of  Katibunga Parish.
